Thank you for taking time to learn about your library. Al Mahdi Islamic Library(AMIL) was founded in 2002 under the umbrella of The Council of Islamic Guidance, to serve the muslim community in Greater Toronto Area.
We believe that libraries play an incredibly important role in all our lives. Libraries open the door to the vast resources of knowledge in books, Videos, CD's, and on the Internet. It's quite a privilege for AMIL to serve you.

Stock Suggestions
We welcome your suggestions for new items. Do you like a book, Video or CD and the library does not have it? You can make your own stock suggestions. Library Staff will assess if this item is good to acquire. You can find the stock suggestion form online or in person at the library.
One Year Membership Fee: $ 10
Renewal Fee: $5 for each renewal year.
Gold Member: $100 for lifetime membership
Note to existing members: Since membership renewal is a new policy, your membership expiry date is set to September 30, of every year.
You can use your membership card to borrow or use all library resources. Please don't allow anyone else to use it. Don't forget to bring your card with you to borrow or renew items. If you change your address or lose your card please let us know as soon as possible.
Please look after items borrowed on your library card. You will be charged for any items that are damaged or lost. Remember that this is a not for profit organization and your taking care of it means that other people can benefit from this resource as well.

If you have already received your Membership ID, please provide us with the number and we will make a library card for you. You can pickup the card on following thursday or when the library is open.
